How bookings work…
Children’s weekly lessons are booked in advance as a block, securing the swimmer’s place for the full teaching period.
Block Bookings
7 Fridays • 6 November – 18 December 2026
7 Saturdays • 7 November - 19 December 2026
£105 per swimmer per 7-week block.
Equivalent to £15 per lesson.
Introductory 2026 block
Lessons will normally run in 8-week blocks.
£120 per swimmer per 8-week block.
Equivalent to £15 per lesson.
From 2027 Onwards…
Places are limited to a maximum of four swimmers per class and are subject to availability.
Children’s Lessons
Maximum 4 swimmers per class.
£15 per swimmer, per lesson
Structured lessons focused on confidence, technique and progression through the JP Medal Pathway.
Lessons are booked and paid for in blocks.
Adult swimming Lessons
Maximum 4 Swimmers per class.
From £15 per swimmer, per lesson
Small-group adult lessons for confidence, technique, fitness or stroke improvement.
Available subject to demand and suitable grouping.
Private Lessons
For families or swimmers wanting even more individual attention.
Available by arrangement
1-to-1, 2-to-1 and 3-to-1 lessons may be available, subject to scheduling.

Yes. Parents and guardians are welcome to watch from poolside, with plenty of seating available.

Lessons take place in a private 30–31°C pool at Sandpearl, Lytham St Annes, with gradual steps, handrails, changing facilities and showers.

Yes. Free parking is available on site at Sandpearl.

Booking, Cancellations & Refunds
Block bookings
Places are booked for the full teaching block. Payment secures the swimmer’s place for all lessons within that block.
Missed lessons
If a swimmer cannot attend because of illness, holidays, transport problems or other personal circumstances, the missed lesson is non-refundable and cannot normally be transferred or carried over.
Leaving a block early
Once a block has started, refunds are not normally provided for remaining lessons if a swimmer chooses to stop attending.
Exceptional circumstances
Serious or prolonged circumstances outside the swimmer’s reasonable control, such as significant illness or injury, will be considered individually. Where appropriate, JP Swim Academy may offer a credit, transfer to a future block or partial refund.
Cancelling before the block begins
Please provide as much notice as possible. Where sufficient notice is given and the place can be filled by another swimmer, a refund or credit may be offered.
Lessons cancelled by JP Swim Academy
If JP Swim Academy has to cancel a lesson and a suitable replacement cannot be provided, the affected lesson will be rearranged, credited or refunded.
